Uganda Missions

From the early days of ministering on Native American reservations in the western United States, Wings of Love Ministries has had a passion for sharing the Gospel wherever God opens a door.

For many years, members of our ministry team have been involved in missions in Uganda, East Africa. Kim and Bill, along with Rick and Rosie, have each participated in mission trips to this beautiful nation. The journey began in 1998 when Rosie was invited to Uganda for the first time. The following year, Bishop Jimmy Katuramu, a Bible School Administrator and ministry leader, visited the United States for the first time.

Through that visit, lifelong friendships were formed. Bishop Katuramu's vision to spread the Gospel throughout Uganda deeply touched our hearts. Today, he serves as bishop and overseer of more than 3,000 churches, with his home church located in Fort Portal, Uganda.

Our mission efforts have always been guided by the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:37-38:

"The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."

For more than fifteen years, Kim and Bill have sponsored a pastor, Bible school director, and his family in Uganda, witnessing firsthand how God's love and provision can transform lives. Rosie, now retired, continues to make annual mission trips, faithfully sharing the Gospel and encouraging believers throughout the region.

Through the generosity of God's people, lives have been changed and communities strengthened. Mission donations have helped provide:

• Church construction projects
• Roofs for existing churches
• School kitchen facilities
• New wells and well repairs for clean drinking water
• Food for families in need
• A ministry van for the Bible School
• Support for pastors and local ministries

Every project is made possible through the faithful support of individuals and churches who share a heart for missions.
